Games of Chance
David Hume III, November 1, 2024
It was December of 1926 and the northeastern United States from Chicago to the mid-Atlantic was reeling from ice and snowstorms.

The Relevancy of Tradition
The Relevancy of Tradition
Kaleigh A., Teen Scene Intern • November 1, 2024
Thanksgiving is a holiday that is celebrated with iconic traditions like the foods we eat, the people we spend it with, and the words we exchange. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade is an annual event in New York that started in 1924. Is it a tradition in your family?

Seeing The World Through People
Makalya P., Teen Scene Freelance Writer • November 1, 2024
The annual Brunswick County Intercultural Festival took place Saturday October 12th this year at the Riverwalk Park in Bellville. The first thing that I noticed when I arrived at the festival was all of the different fashions that people were wearing to represent their culture. A beautiful scheme of colors worn in bright and dark shades all blended together to create a piece of art.
