A Story About Love in the Loss.

Broken+Heart

This is not a story too long or too short.

This isn’t something familiar, nor is it something new and intriguing.

It’s a story we’ve all heard.

It’s a story about love and loss.

And other sides to it you all failed to realize.

The way to tell these stories is difficult.

So I’ll use two completely fictional characters.

We’ll call them Addison and Isaac.

So here is where our story begins:

Isaac and Addison are dating.

They’ve known each other for about four years.

Isaac loves Addison with all his heart.

And Addison loves Isaac.

As far as Isaac knows.

Isaac is very physically affectionate, but Addison is not the same.

Isaac loves to hug Addison and wants to do so for long periods of time.

But Addison tends to just walk away sometimes, shove him away even.

It makes him want to cry, but he doesn’t want to bother her.

He’s horrible at communicating, and Addison is always busy with her friends.

She never has time for him anymore.

Isaac feels he needs to apologize for being “too clingy,” but he feels like that makes him a burden.

He feels like he’s a burden. He feels like Addison thinks he’s a burden.

Isaac wants to break up with Addison, not because he doesn’t love her, but because he feels he’s not good enough.

But Isaac stays to make Addison happy.

Not a story too long.

Not a story too short.

This isn’t something familiar.

Nor is it something new and intriguing.

It’s a story we’ve all heard but never think of.

A story about love.

A story about loss.

And other sides to it you all failed to realize.

(Two completely…fictional…” characters.”)
