I always wondered where the waves go

Do they blow away?

Are they prey for the wind?

Why don’t we know where they go?

The waves are always seen coming toward

us

But, what if it’s an illusion

What if they are really going outwards

I wish I knew what they do.

I watch them crash in the sand

But what would happen if there were no waves?
