The Raymond W. Biglow VFW Post 8062 recognized Ms. Kathryn Pender, of Leland Middle School as their Teacher of the Year. Leland Commander, Gerald Decker, was on hand to make the presentation on behalf of the Biglow Post Commander Dana Gill. Ms. Pender teaches English Language Arts and is the sponsor for the creative writing class that participates in The Teen Scene.
