Tears

I cry tears

That is a fact well known

I cry tears of many things

I cry tears of water

The most basic of the them all

I weep and whimper, silently closing my eyes

To bid my sight from the things that sadden

As dogs die and parents lose

I cry my tears of tainted water

I cry tears of poison ivy

I burn those that touch me and create a rash that lasts forever

I shriek and shout at the world around me

I cry in anger and fury unleashed

Fights and stress taking tolls on my body, finally unleashed into the wild

And as my rash spreads, I cry my tears of acid rain

I cry tears of gold

As life blooms and glows around me

I laugh as tears surround me

Fools and buffoons are gone

And my family surrounds me

No longer with the ones who are the enemies

I cry my tears of gold.

As I leave my love behind

I drift into slumber asleep

My tears reek of death

As I close my eyes again.
