Mascots represent a team or a place to describe the type of place or restaurant. First, we will talk about Ronald McDonald. Ronald Mcdonald is a mascot. You can’t see his face and he looks scary but is actually nice by giving kids toys, food and donating money to charities. Ronald Mcdonald was played by a guy of the name Willard Scott. One time Ronald Mcdonald got canceled because there were a lot of sightings of killer clowns in the world so they had to cancel Ronald Mcdonald so they don’t scare any little kids.
The next mascot is Grimace which is another McDonald’s mascot. Grimace is a purple taste bud called Grimace because McDonald’s used him in commercials back in the early seventies. Grimace was an evil character who stole milkshakes. Grimace was played by the actor Daniel Ross.
The third mascot I will be talking about is Jack Box. Jack Box has a circle head with an ice cream cone on top of his head and wears a suit to look professional. Jack Box is 6’8″ tall, 195 pounds, and was born on a cattle ranch in Colorado. Jack is an alumnus of Ball State University, a reference to his ball-shaped head. Robert Peterson was the first Jack in the Box in San Diego.
The next mascot on our list is Taco Bell’s chihuahua. The chihuahua was named Gidget and was born on February 7, 1994, United States. The chihuahua died on July 21, 2009, in Santa Clara California. Gidget appeared in Taco Bell commercials from 1997 to the early 2000s and was the pet of Karen McElhatton. The Taco Bell mascot is not around anymore because he died in the early 2000s.
