Bluey is an Australian kid’s show that teaches life lessons to kids and parents alike. But it was still made for kids. It was created by Joe Brumm. It is available on Disney+. They recently released new episodes on it too.
Anyway, the show is about a family of dogs (Australian Heelers to be exact) that live in a house in Australia. There are 151 episodes currently out. I’ve seen probably 149. Most I’ve seen at least twice. I love Bluey so much. There are four members of the Heeler family. Bluey is a six-year-old girl, Bingo is a 5-year-old girl, Chili Heeler is the mum, and Bandit Heeler is the dad. They also have a big family that I won’t say. Watch the show to find out.
Most episodes are to teach kids a lesson, but some episodes have instances that most kids won’t understand. Bluey, unlike other shows, also isn’t very predictable, besides the theme song of course. Season 2 episode 19 “The Show” opened very differently than I thought it would be. I won’t spoil it. Also, I wouldn’t say the show is for preschoolers. Probably closer to 3rd grade. Some episodes have some bathroom humor that might influence smaller kids.
One thing that is also interesting is that the director and composer are brothers: Joe and Dan Brumm.
