Good morning,
Next Saturday the 12th, we will be having a Family Festival Community Day. The museum will be free from 10-5pm! We will have music, face painting, etc. As well as a film screening of the 1971 Harry Nilsson animated film The Point. Which will have an outdoor sculpture unveiled on our grounds as a nod to the movie.

Sunday the 13th, I will be giving an illustrated lecture at 1pm, focusing on the stories of USCT soldiers and their descendants. With a year under our belt collecting stories and narratives, I will be speaking on the impact of individuals which will serve as a precursor to our Oral History short film that will be showcased this November 11th for our Descendants homecoming day.

This free concert at our USCT Sculpture Park will feature MoeSOS and Ricki Nelson, fantastic local spoken word and hip hop artist. We provide seating but encourage you to bring lawn chairs. Food and drinks will be served on site too!
