The Bluegrass, Bowls & Baskets is a FREE event that will be held on October 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Leland Cultural Arts Center. This year, the event will include live music from Masonboro Sound!
There will be local potters and basket weavers selling their wares including pottery bowls, mugs, weaved bread baskets and square napkin holders.
You can also try chili made by Leland’s finest as the Town of Leland Police and Fire departments will be facing off in a chili cookoff. Each department will have one chili representing their team. Get there early to ensure you can try some before they run out. To vote on your favorite cookoff chili, bring any canned good(s) and donate it to the team that served what you thought was the best chili! At the end of the event, all donated canned goods will go to Manna Ministries, a local non-profit food pantry in Leland.
