SCAPEGOAT TAP ROOM FUNDRAISER FOR LELAND FIRE DEPARTMENT

The first Friday of every month, Chris and Jody Walker, owners of The Scapegoat Tap Room, hold a fundraiser for a local non-profit organization.   On November 3,  the Leland Fire Department is in the spotlight.

Make every effort to support the dedicated men and women of the Fire Department who are there, every day for us.  While you are there, have some food from “Holy Smokes” food truck.

See you at “The Goat” on November 3!  The Scapegoat Tap Room is located at 2789 Compass Pointe South Wynd NE (West Gate of Compass Pointe.)  They open at 3:00 p.m.

Jan Morgan-Swegle is the Editor of Cape Fear Voices.  She has been writing for CFV for more than  3 years.  She is originally from Strongsville, Ohio, (a suburb of  Cleveland)  and moved down to Leland 13 years ago.  She and her husband, Tony, and their dog, Dixie, enjoy sitting on the lanai listening to music and sharing wine (Dixie likes white wine but only gets two finger tips full!!)  They have 3 children and 9 grandchildren living in Olmsted Falls, Ohio,  Charlotte, North Carolina and Lakeland, Florida.  Jan always dreamed of being a writer and Gerald Decker helped her make that dream come true.
