Falling from the sky
like a feather, like a leaf
tumbling and spinning
through the air in disbelief.
As I fell, I found
that I was not alone,
for the world had fallen
too, all on its own.
So, I let go of my fear
and my crippling doubt
and embraced my fall
for what it’s all about.
Falling is a human part
of the journey I take,
it’s my choice to let go
and my choice to be awake
to the beauty and the wonder
in the world all around,
to the love and the laughter,
even when I’m on the ground!

When I read the title, I thought there was only one way this story could end. Thank you for the lesson in falling UP.

The poem After the Fall was written by Dan Mask not Dan Niezmik

Thank you, I took Dan’s name off and corrected the story. Sorry for the mix up
