In North Carolina the temperature can be inconsistent throughout the day. With lows of 45° and highs of 75° it can be hard to find an outfit that works for the whole day. These are some of my favorite workarounds.
My absolute favorite clothes hack is cardigans and zip-up jackets. While it’s still cool in the morning you can have them zipped up or buttoned up to keep in the heat. When it starts to warm up, all you have to do is open it up and your outfit is pretty much the same.
Another one of my favorites is tights or fishnets under skirts or ripped jeans. They add a cute touch and there are hundreds of different designs to complement any outfit. They add a layer that is also easy to remove and don’t drastically change the look.
Sweaters are always a go-to piece for fall but can be tricky with the warmer temperatures later in the day. If you pair a sweater with a cute tank top or short sleeve that also goes with the rest of the outfit, it’s an easy way to bring it from a 55° look to a 70° look.
There are many options to keep warm and cool this season. These are just some of my favorites.
