Imagine waiting months or even a year for a certain menu item to come back to specific fast-food chains.
Remember the shamrock shake from McDonald’s? People would wait for March to come around just for McDonald’s to share the return of the shamrock shake. This green minty drink was brought to McDonald’s in the 1970s. Due to poor sales, McDonald’s discontinued the shake but in recent years the shamrock shake has made its return.
Now the shamrock shake is not McDonald’s only specialty shake option. If we go back to the McDonald’s character Grimice’s 52nd birthday, we will find the birth of the “Grimice Shake”.
The purple berry-flavored shake quickly became a meme on the internet, not for the drink itself but all because of the character Grimice.
