I often think about the power of words,

How they mean so much and can change the world,

They can pave the way to peace and bring us together,

When handled with care they can make lives better.

But poorly chosen words have been known to start wars,

Words carelessly spoken with little thought before,

And words cannot be stopped once sent on their way,

And once they’re received they cannot be changed.

Always choose wisely the words that you say, 

And how you use words throughout your day, 

History has been defined by the words people use,

And they’ve often been the difference between win and lose.

Words can be creative, and let your ideas flow,

They can help you make a point and let feelings show,

Words can be helpful, but can be harmful too,

So handle with care every word that you use.
