Emojis are a type of communication that are in the form of little images like a smiley face or a thumbs up. They are used in many different ways. They can be used to emphasize a point or as a funny gesture. Apple iPhones have come up with many different types of emojis but the question still rises of what emojis could we use most?
Freshman Bella Thomas states “I want a cat emoji with heart eyes and kissy lips so that it can show that it is so in love.” Thomas also states that she wants a cowboy emoji with heart eyes and kissy lips because she likes emojis being in love.
Freshman Kenzie Thomas states that she would like to see an emoji of someone bursting flames. Thomas would use this emoji in every chance that she would get and thinks it would be very funny.
Freshman Catlin Screeton would like to see an otter emoji with a cowboy hat because it “would be cute” and she would use it a lot.
Ava Robbins and Claire Powers would like a minion wearing a cowboy hat with kissy lips in a dress. Because it “would be very useful in THE groupchat.” They say that it would mean “slay” in context.
Freshman Liam Clarkson would have a ninja with the Power Ranger spikes on his head and with hypnotic eyes who would have short hair sticking out doing the “gigachad” face. He would use this in the context of “a situation after I did something that was the bee’s knees.” Clarkson states that this emoji “Is the living embodiment of me. I am gnarly”.
Junior Hayden Loveless wants a Batman emoji “Because it’s Batman.” He would use this emoji in every context imaginable like after telling someone he won a prize or after he told someone that he was going to have lunch because “It’s Batman.”
Freshman Amelia Harris wants an emoji of Kirby with Airpods and a flaming Yeti. She would use these emojis after every sentence and wants them because they are cool.
Overall, most students have some very interesting emoji ideas. But the common theme between them all is that they are all fun.
