All my brothers and sisters, please gather ‘round,
And I’ll tell you The Story of All, I have found.
It’s about all the people, from beginning to now,
And how it all started so long ago.
It began in a garden, with one women, one man,
The creation of life throughout the land,
Across oceans and mountains, fulfilling his plan,
A world for his people from where it all began.
Who we are, how we look, all changed as we grew,
With new countries and cultures, and how we do what we do,
Civilizations have come and gone as centuries passed,
And against all the odds, this world’s managed to last.
With all the different views and beliefs that guide us,
None of that matters, only the character inside us.
They tell us we’re different, both you and me,
But we’re more the same than different, undeniably.
To all who read this, I hope the point I have made,
We’re all the same color, just a few different shades,
If you look in my soul, you’ll probably see part of you,
And when we all come together, there is nothing we can’t do.
So, thanks to Uncle Adam and of course, Aunt Eve,
We all started the same, and still are… I believe,
If we think about it, it’s not so hard to figure out,
It all began in that garden and it’s The Story of All. □
