God’s love letter to all humanity,

pouring out his heart to a desperate world who needs a healing touch

Oh, as God sent a star of hope,

to the wisemen.

As they travel to see a tiny king laid in a manger

Wrapped in swaddling  cloth

Paying their respects to God’s  miracle

As they offer their gifts

Of love, and admiration

To a baby boy who would change the world.

Oh, how the angels sang on high, as they rejoiced in

Their newborn king

when love came down.

As God’s heart was overwhelmed with joy

As he sat and watched

how his people came together

To pay their respects to baby Jesus

Come all,

who are weary and burdened

Of their sins

to where the precious child lays

In a manger.

When love came down

Oh, how God’s precious gift

Would take away the sins of the world

reminding us all that

We not too gone

to kneel before the manger

Of new beginnings

It’s a sacred place

to renew our weary spirit
