Clearing My Mind.
I tilted my head and some thoughts fell out,
I couldn’t stop wondering, what is this about,
So I wrote them all down, and sorted them out,
I threw out the bad and think more clearly now!
Money Matters.
“Easy come, easy go”!
Who coined that phrase, I’d like to know,
They’ve never seen my money flow,
It goes too easy, but comes too slow!
“What? ” What was that again?
The first time was the worst time,
The next time was the best time,
I sure do have a good time,
It’s become my favorite pastime!
Everything seems peculiar,
Until it becomes familiar,
Then it all feels sorta similar,
Like nothing in particular!
I want to be a Professional Amurater,
Good at nothing in particular,
I wouldn’t worry about my mistakes,
I wouldn’t notice them, anyway!
I feel some interactions,
Can cause a big distraction,
If only just a fraction,
There can be a bad reaction!
There’s no need to regret,
What hasn’t happened yet,
It’s important to remember,
You might not even be there!
Careful What You Wish For.
He wished to be a fly on the wall,
So he could overhear it all,
But he’ll never tell us what he knew,
He got nailed to the wall with a shoe!
Problems…
My only problem with problems,
Is they always give me trouble,
And when I try to solve them,
They only seem to double!
Marriage Survey.
When considering if you should Marry,
Just remember: “The results may vary”,
Nine out of ten, say they’d do it again,
But one would prefer to be buried…
You should know, of course,
There is always divorce,
But with a cost more painful than shingles,
You might get the “itch” to stay single!
Make A Difference.
Everyday is an opportunity,
For each and everyone,
To try to make a difference,
Before all our days are gone!
Fate…
He said: “What just happened to me”?
Did I just happen to be,
In the right place at the wrong time,
Thinking everything is fine…
Or, was it simply my turn,
For the lesson to be learned,
That in the right place at the wrong time,
Is just a consequence of life…
Lost?
Some people think they’re lost,
Always trying to “find themselves”,
Not happy with who they are,
Always trying to be someone else.
If they would just slow down,
They might find what their looking for,
And maybe they would find,
That they were never lost at all! □
