The Heat completed a massive five-team trade that sends six-time All-Star forward Jimmy Butler to the Warriors in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round pick. Steph Curry stated, “Jimmy Butler is a dog and is a winner; and just the idea he has a lot to prove with a new situation – I know he’s excited to help us – we’re excited to help him, and I like a motivated, hungry team with Jimmy on there and the vets we have to try to put it together.” Butler debuted in the game with the Warriors and Bulls and registered 25 points (7-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 11-13 FT), four assists, two rebounds, one block and one steal across 29 minutes in Saturday’s 132-111 victory over the Bulls. With the Warrior’s aging superstar Steph Curry, Butler brings a new energy to their squad.
