On that wooden cross.

Life and death are held in his mighty hands,

That our savior paid with his blood,

He overcame the grave and broke the chains of death.

Where Jesus laid down his life for sinners like me,

About the love and hope,

for us all.

as we reflect on the power of the cross.

And the love that was poured out for all to see,

God’s love story for the world.

Come witness the love that Jesus has,

at the foot of the cross.

Oh, how redemption calls our name,

through the blood of Jesus.

Come see the chains of our past break,

witness the power of grace.

Come knee before the cross,

and renew your spirit.
