Teen Scene showcases writing and artwork from middle- and high-school students at cooperating schools primarily in the Cape Fear area. We also will partner with schools from other districts, states and countries. Cooperating schools require:
> A “champion,” typically an English teacher, to review student work prior to submission.
> A registration form for each participating student and signed by their parents.

Submit requests and inquires to the publisher: [email protected].

Cape Fear Voices showcases the works of the area’s many talented local writers, poets and artists as well as the work of local non-profit organizations.

We review all submissions. Editors may request edits or corrections. We reserve the right to postpone or reject material for any reason including suitability for our audience, which includes teens. We will not publish any political or religious material and will censor profanity, no matter how good the work might otherwise be.

Submission Requirements

Deadline
All written materials must be submitted by the 15th of each month for consideration in the following month’s issue. Time-sensitive materials can be submitted at any time but should be submitted at least a week ahead of an event.

However, some sites such as UNSPLASH.com and PIXABAY.com offer free images. When downloading from these sites, please copy/paste the credit at the bottom of your document with the links, e.g.: Photo by Hu Jiarui on Unsplash.
