You cannot get back what is gone,

They say you shouldn’t rue what you have done,

But I sometimes regret what I haven’t done!

When I was 20 I thought I’d never age, but…

the book of like turns faster page by page!

And now that I’m ??? (well, I won’t say)…

I’m in my later years and here to stay,

for some time to come, I do pray…
