Money

Money

Tashombi Bailey, 6th Grade Town Creek Middle School

Money is a sign of life, education, and living. If you don’t have a house then you’re considered homeless. If you don’t have a car then you walk on a sidewalk when your parents put you up for adoption then you’ll be an orphan.

Money can just be lucky to get a lottery ticket. Or just someone nice donating to a charity. Life is mostly about miracles and what people do to get in touch. You need money for food, water, clothes, shoes, shelter, someplace to live, and even a roof over your head, money can just be the thing that can only be the key to life.

It wasn’t until about 5,000 years ago that the Mesopotamian people created the shekel, which is considered the first known form of currency.

Life, the only way you can live it, is with money.
