With the weather warming up and plants blooming, many are excited to embody spring into their outfits. Others have questions like, What patterns are popular? What colors should I wear? What articles of clothing are spring-like? Here’s what Brunswick Early College students and staff have to say.

Yoko Boyer, a graduate, stated they are excited to see Spanish florals and sleeveless tops to combat the warm weather. Their ideal spring outfit would include a fitted sleeveless top, light-washed jeans, off-white high tops, and depending on the weather a varsity jacket. These pieces are great for people who love an androgynous look for their spring style.

Leah Pompey, a freshman, sees flowing dresses as a spring staple. She looks forward to wearing lots of pastel flowers and cloud patterns. Embroidered flowers, strawberries, and mushrooms are very popular on sites like Pinterest and Instagram. It helps express the blooming nature of the season through clothes.

Benjamin Ford, A teacher, said pastels especially pinks, greens, and purples are spring-like to him because of easter. His ideal spring outfit is a fishing shirt, fishing shorts, sunglasses, flip-flops, and a trucker hat.

One thing to keep in mind when figuring out what to wear this spring is what you feel happy and confident in. Recently individuality has been what’s the most popular and it’s great!
