The results of our poll about the commercialization of holidays were not surprising. Based on our small poll, 100% of the respondents feel that the holidays are over-commercialized.
If someone is willing, there’s a story there that needs updating. (The sentiment has been stated many times before.) It looks like all the ads that drive us nuts are winning the seasonal mood.
Happy Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Bowl games, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to all of us “traditionalists.” And make sure there are no broken bones while throwing the football in the yard on Thanksgiving afternoon, between meals and refills.
