Glass Half Full.

I woke up this morning with my glass half full,

Happy, excited and ready to go,

I looked for good news, but couldn’t find any,

And the rest of the day was a glass half empty!

   Just Thinking…

“Procrastination and Indecision”,

I’m not sure that they are real,

I need more time to think about it, 

Before I decide how I feel!

   Some things about “Nothing”.

Sometimes I have nothing to say, 

But, I say it anyway, 

There, I’ve done it again! 

Nothing is something I’ve thought about,

And I still know “nothing” about it!

When there’s nothing to talk about,

Some people will discuss it, anyway!

When there is absolutely nothing to do,

Don’t mess it up by doing something stupid!

Ever notice the ones who say nothing, 

Always seem to say it best?

Is spending time doing nothing,

Something to do?  

 A Better Today… 

If we look back on Yesterday,

When it’s come and gone,

We can make Today a better one,

If we correct the wrongs we’ve done…

And if we make Today a better one,

Then, maybe when Tomorrow comes,

We can look back on the good we’ve done,

And make Tomorrow an even better one!

   Life is Like An Escalator.                                  

I was riding up the escalator, when all of a sudden it stopped,

I was more than half way up, so I decided to walk,

And when I neared the top, the power came back on,

But much to my dismay, the escalator was  going down!!!

   What do you really know?              

Do you really know what you think you know? 

And do you know what you know is the truth?

Do you know what you know because they told you so?

Or, do you know it because you’ve seen the proof?

What you think know could make you a fool,  

If what you think you know just isn’t true!

   Way Too Much Confidence…

The one thing I do best is:  everything!

I don’t claim to be the best,

Just better than all the rest!

I have to make a confession:

If Perfection had an election,

I’d be elected President,

I’d be a Perfect Selection!

   A stranger asked me:
