Kneeling before you,
Bowing my head.
As memories start to flood my mind
Like a tsunami.
How you were my comrade, and brother
Like a thief in the night.
How time slipped you away from my grasp
You may be gone,

How you answered the call of freedom,
Being the ultimate sacrifice.
We pay homage,
For the strength,
You displayed.
While you, Were America’s Ambassador,
Defending Her.
Against her enemies,
Standing in bravery.
As you fought,
With all your might.
