The Brunswick County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers will host Pollinator PLUS Workshops on Friday, Aug. 22, and Saturday, Aug. 23, at 1 p.m., in conjunction with the 2025 Great Southeast Pollinator Census.
During the workshop, we’ll explore the importance of pollinators, the plants that support them, and then head to the Demonstration Garden to take part in the Pollinator Census alongside Master Gardener volunteers.
Participating in the census offers a real-time opportunity to observe pollinators in action, deepen your understanding of their role in ecosystems, and contribute valuable data scientists use to track population trends and guide conservation efforts.
Bonus: Plants for Your Garden
Included with your $30 registration, you’ll take home five pollinator-friendly plants, including milkweeds, coneflowers, and bee balm. Additional pollinator-favorite plants will be available for purchase on-site (selection may vary).
