The Krampus is a half goat, half-demon monster. There are more Krampus demons in the world than Santa has elves. A Krampus is a devilish companion of Saint Nicholas. Krampen in German means claw. 

If given a fruit the Krampus will eat it and share with you. It will have a conversation with you and then just walk away and you will not be harmed.
