If you and/or your family members are planning a Florida getaway or thinking about destinations in the Caribbean or Latin America, you might want to start planning your trip because you now have another option to consider when booking your flights.
American Airlines announced it will begin Saturday only, nonstop service between Wilmington International Airport (ILM) and Miami International Airport (MIA) between November 11, 2023, and March 30, 2024.
Flights will operate on Saturdays, with departure from ILM at 6:30 a.m., arriving in MIA at 7:50 a.m. The return flights will depart MIA at 7:30 p.m., arriving in ILM at 9:00 p.m.
American Airlines flights will go on sale beginning Sunday, July 16, 2023, on the American Airlines website www.aa.com.
This new service to its hub in Miami, connecting passengers to the Caribbean and Latin America, will increase American Airlines service out of Wilmington, North Carolina, to eight nonstop locations. American currently operates flights from Wilmington ILM to Charlotte, Dallas-Fort Worth, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York-LaGuardia, Boston and Chicago.
