Following up its first Grammy in 2020 for its album “Good Time,” the group won its second Grammy this past February for its “Live At The 2022 New Orleans Jazz And Heritage Festival”.  Its repertoire includes playful game songs, ecstatic shouts, and heartbreaking spirituals, as well as, the group’s first original songs inspired by Gullah tradition.  Band members describe themselves as “ambassadors” of Gullah culture and have introduced Gullah language and musical rhythm to audiences throughout North America and Europe.
