Mr. & Mrs. Claus will be on hand as the Cape Fear Chordsmen present their lively holiday show with Acapella Spirit and special guest Playlist

The Cape Fear Chordsmen will present their lively holiday show, “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” on Sunday, December 17th at 3 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, at 18th St. and Market St. in Wilmington.

Free to the public, the show offers a fun mix of story and songs in the barbershop style with holiday tunes, traditional Christmas carols and sing-a-longs. Also performing will be Acapella Spirit, a mixed chorus that is a new addition to the Wilmington chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. This year’s program will also feature special guest, Playlist — the 2017 Indiana/Kentucky district champion and 2019 quarterfinal qualifier.

At the end of the show, a love offering will be collected for The Salvation Army’s holiday drive.

Cape Fear Chordsmen, now in its 35th year, is led by choir director Bryan Hughes and currently includes 25 members. The chorus meets on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in the church’s fellowship hall. Guests are always welcome. For more information about the show or the Cape Fear Chordsmen visit www.capefearchordsmen.com.
