I fell in love well.

That is what part of me says.

The other says it’s just a normal day.

He is dating a girl that I have known for a while.

I felt the tears in my eyes but I won’t let them show.

My brain was right, there is no love. It’s just a normal day.

I’ll lock my heart up until it is once again safe.

But my heart keeps breaking out of its cage,

making me think about how he didn’t say a word.

How he ignored me and kept me in the dark.

I don’t know what side to choose.

My brain and my heart are having a war.

both fell apart,

my heart had was broken in two.

My brain was right, my heart is now changed,

not even allowed to get out.
