Members of Leland Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12196 accompanied Commander Nate Pringle to Leland Middle School on May 28 to present the Patriot Pen Awards to three very deserving students. Pictured below are 1st Place Winner, Alyssa Williamson, and 3rd Place winner, Aubrey Eidson. (2nd place winner Alberto Martinez was not present.) VFW members included Jr. Vice Commander Larry Dennis, Chris Pilloton, Gerald Decker, Commander Pringle, and Chris Mattiace.
